Barbadian Born, Chef, Lionel Roberts, studied in Canada and worked within the Marriott Brand of Hotels in Canada and America for several years before coming back to work in Barbados. In Barbados, Chef Roberts served as executive chef at Marriott Sam Lord’s Castle; executive chef at Paradise Beach Club & chief instructor at the Barbados Hospitality Institute. Chef Roberts also served for 8 years on the panel of judges of the annual Culinary Arts competition hosted by the Nation Cultural Foundation (N.C.F.).
